5. The Slide at ArcelorMittal Orbit
Based in the heart of Stratford, the 178M Slide is officially the tallest and longest slide in the world. Not UK, not Europe…the world. A truly unforgettable experience as you slide down, seeing the entirety of London before your eyes before heading back to the top floor for drinks and pizza in the Cafe. A truly unique experience and definitely something to take advantage of if you happen to be a Londoner.
4. Lovers Leap Tandem Bungee Jump
If the slide gets your adrenaline pumping, then just wait for LoversLeap. You and your partner are tied at the hip, literally, as you both take the step over the edge to be dropped 160 feet towards the ground, before raising back up again. 3. Afternoon Tea at Fortnum and Mason
There has to be something classy and relaxing on the list for Valentine’s Day. Spoil yourselves at the 4th floor of Fortnum and Mason; it may take a while to get there will all the shopping you might do on the way up, but the Afternoon Tea experience is one to behold. And with Navrtar, the Virtual Reality experience that will have you both fighting off batches of zombies set for a world takeover, you’ll need to hone in on that chemistry to make it out alive. Based in Ealing Broadway, Navrtar provides an unbelievably fun experience for two, and with a bar to go along with your games, anticipate many drinks and cheers as you both save the world together.
1. Cirque Du Soleil
Only in London until February 27th, Valentine’s Day weekend might be one of the only times you’re able to experience LUIZA at London’s Royal Albert Hall; a journey through Mexico brought to you by Cirque Du Soleil. Expect acrobats, pole dancing, fire play, twists and turns and hoop diving as the circus is brought to life right in front of you. I’ll be honest, prices are quite steep, and if you want a good view you’re looking at around £190 each…but who can put a price on love this Valentine’s Day
